"FleaMarket II" examines alternate production and forms of exchange not
usually served by the conventional gallery exhibition mode. A bazaar, a
demonstration and a performance, Fleamarket II has over 60 artists
exhibiting their wares, talking concepts, networking and selling their junk
and collectibles. Whilst some are clearing out their studio, others are
presenting specially made artist multiples, collaborative sculptures, art
badges, custom jewellery, limited edition prints, CD collections, cardboard
architecture, wearable rock bands, performance T-shirts, suitcase shows,
7"s, audio vodka pants, Goth furnishings, public game painting, recycled
fashion bags, mobile phone covers, painted icons, visionary
drawings, vintage cameras, alienated portraits, vagina props and more.
In the evenings the lounge transforms into an improvised live gig venue with
two nights of music mayhem;

Saturday 5-10pm, 'Deliverance' night with Man from Uranus, Pil and Galia Kollectiv, Snorkel,
John E. Cashmoney and the Lonesome Cowboys from Hell, and Realtime Thrill;
Sunday 5-10pm, 'Southern Comfort' night with The Swedish Folk Song Project,
KESHCO, Nigel Burch & the Fleapit Orchestra and Mendicant.
